My client is looking for a Z Storage Specialist to join their team.
Role Description:
* Comprehensive understanding of Mainframe Storage Management principals
* Extensive knowledge in the design of storage solutions and the configuration of storage hardware.
* Comprehensive understanding of the mainframe operating systems
* Fully competent in the configuration and support of the IBM range of storage controllers, both hardware and software
* Comprehensive understanding of IBM's GDPS and PPRC for data replication and disaster recovery.
* Fully competent in the configuration and support of Dell Disk Library for Mainframe virtual tape technology
* Comprehensive understanding of ICF catalog and management.
* Competent in the configuration and support of TDMF.
* Fully competent in the use of CA disk utilities for mainframe.
* Competent in the use of JCL.
* Extensive understanding of FICON/Network management
