This Workplace Integration Engineer role sits within a multi skilled Agile team and focuses on the end to end delivery of integrated workplace and infrastructure components across varied technology estates.
About the Role - Workplace Integration Engineer
As a Workplace Integration Engineer, you will own delivery of defined work packages from design through prototyping, user piloting, and production support.
You will work closely with Network Architects and Project Managers to configure, test, and document solutions from multiple vendors.
You will automate deployments across Linux environments using Ansible and Terraform.
You will script repeatable unit tests and support early life operations following go live.
You will maintain and update technical documentation, ensuring long term supportability.
You will manage ongoing changes in response to evolving user requirements.
Key Skills - Workplace Integration Engineer
Strong experience with RHEL and CentOS, including automation via Ansible and Terraform.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows enterprise administration, including GPO, Registry, PowerShell, and patching mechanisms.
Solid scripting capability with batch, PowerShell, or Python.
Experience working within DevOps delivery environments.
Understanding of networking fundamentals and IP packet structures.
Desirable Experience - Workplace Integration Engineer
Active Directory, PKI, VMware virtualisation, and Windows Server environments.
System hardening and gold build creation.
Automated test execution using Robot framework.
Agile delivery methodologies.
