Platform and Middleware Specialist
Location - Remote
A technical specialist who will be building, configuring, integrating and deploying IBM COTS products (WAS & Portal) for a complex SOA based application. The specialist will be working as part of a technical build and integrate team supported by Architects and delivering highly ingratiated products onto an environment platforms ( Linux/Windows based x86) in on-premise data centres.
Required Skills
- Experience of WebSphere & HCL Portal WebSphere Application Server Linux and Windows
- Experience of product installation configuration and integration
- Experience working in a DevOps/Agile environment
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Support Team members by establishing effective interpersonal relationships and cross functional partnering work.
- Teamwork and collaboration: Experience working with varied stakeholders including architects and testers
Nice to have
- Experience of IBM App Connect Enterprise WebSphere and HCL Portal
- Experience of KSH93 Java, Jython and GOT
- Experience of working with x86 virtualised platforms Azure and AWS
- Experience of using ServiceNow for ticket handling
- Jira Confluence and Trello
- Understand solution deployment and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context
- An understanding of Agile methods.
