Main purpose of job:
As the Web Manager you are a website, technical and digital expert. You will be at the heart of an organisation-wide drive towards digital maturity.
You will run the entire website programme, including satellite websites. You will have budget control and will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery against business goals. You will be the point of contact between the organisation and its external technical suppliers across the digital function, including CMS, front end design, CRM, UX, and ecommerce.
You will be involved at all levels, from technical fixes, to building pages, to reporting, to outlining website strategy including SEO and CRO initiatives, managing suppliers and pitching for budget. The job is full of variety and you will need to be able to turn your hand to a variety of tasks.
This role would suit an experienced web expert who is looking for management responsibility and the opportunity to help the organisation become more sophisticated in its approach to digital communications.
