The location of the role is Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.

The pay rate on offer is £16.20 per hour.

The duration of the contract is 3 months (potential to extend).

The role works a 5 day, 2 shift pattern (6am-2pm // 2pm-10pm).

Job Summary

To receive, pick, assemble, pack and despatch orders in accordance with the weekly 'Work-to' plan ensuring all BPCs and cGMP documentation is complete.

EXPERIENCE

  • Must hold a fork lift truck licence and be able to use/train to use other warehouse type equipment e.g. pallet inverter, staple machines
  • Following shipping, SOP and process instructions
  • Competent in manual handling
  • Good understanding of cGMP, safety issues and the importance of inventory record accuracy
  • GCSE passes in Maths and English and/or meet the required standard in the Company selected aptitude tests.
  • Must be able to work well within a team structure and have the ability to adapt to and deal with change.
  • Must be prepared to admit mistakes and faults and seek support and guidance

GOODS-IN

  • Receive, check and book-in goods in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Unload materials using appropriate manual handling equipment and in accordance with the HSE procedures.
  • Liaise with Planning, drivers and suppliers to arrange booking-in slots.

MAIN WAREHOUSE

  • Pick, assemble and check shop orders and requisitions in accordance with the weekly 'Work to' plan in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Put away unused or returned material from Production in line procedures.
  • Operate FLTs, High Rise and other mechanical lifting devices in accordance with operating procedures and HSE procedures.
  • Ensure stock is put away correctly as per the SOP
  • Complete quarterly cycle counts.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

  • To ensure all activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner to meet Production and Customer order requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate BPCS transactions to ensure inventory record accuracy
  • Provide site services as required

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES

  • Complete all BPCS transactions in order to support both site and local activities, e.g. inventory record accuracy, goods receiving (production and consumables), stock location, stock selection and picking, issues to production and site and customer orders
  • Monitor the environmental conditions within the Warehouse via the EMS System reporting any adverse trends to Warehouse Supervisor
  • Monitor Taggart fridges on a daily basis
  • Move stock around the site including hazardous material
  • Complete checks on all mechanical lifting equipment in accordance with the written procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining a good level of housekeeping
  • Inducting visitors and contractors to the Warehouse
  • Provide relief cover to the Stores and Staging
