Position Summary
Our client is looking for an information security professional with expert level skill within the Web Application Firewall scope of services and technology. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of the key technologies used to provide the service to include, Gartner "Leaders" in this scope. The position will require supporting WAF services for both Internal and commercial services
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, support and maintain WAF infrastructure
- Collaborate as necessary with network and application support
- Manage, tune and troubleshoot policy configurations
- Assist with and support security incidents with CSIRT
- Engage and collaborate with vendor on issues and incidents
Education/Experience Requirements
- CISSP Preferred
- 5+ years experience supporting WAF services in a large enterprise
- Possess extensive implementation OWASP and WAFEC, especially as it relates to WAF configurations for complex SAP and Oracle application environments
- Passion to work as a member of a team focused on constant improvement and excellence
- Demonstrate an ability and desire to be creative and voice out-of-the-box solutions to problems
