Experis are delighted to be working alongside their longterm client, who are a well-established British organisation who operate in the Seafoods, Logistics & Industrial space and who have their HQ in Glasgow.
The organisation are in the middle of a multi-year digital transformation project and a large part of this falls back to the technology used across the business, including the communication technologies. They are looking to further expand the team and bring on another Unified Communications Engineer who will be responsible for the following:
o Develop policies and standards for all communication technologies deployed across the group
o Develop multi-year roadmap for the core elements of Unified Communications strategy (WAN, Wireless, Telephony, Chat, email, IM, VC)
o Develop supplier relationships to support and deliver this roadmap
o Provide professional Communications and Information Technology support and advice to all companies in the Group
o Second line support for Communications and Information Technology with a focus on the unified communications environment.
o Assist the Service Desk and other support teams when required to ensure service level agreements are adhered to and not breached.
o Assist the Head of IT Operations with proposals for IT and Communications projects and upgrades
