Technical Skills:
- Minimum 3 years trade finance experience in commodity trading space
- Must have good technical and practical knowledge of UCP 600 and ISP 98 and a full understanding of Letters of Credit (Documentary LC and SBLC for Import and Export), LC presentations, payments, negotiations and discounting, as well as bonds and guarantees and letters of indemnity.
- Ability to prepare presentation of original shipping documents for payment under LC or on a collection basis
- Good knowledge of Incoterms and transfer of title and risk for physical commodities
- Understand basic implications of sanctions and foreign exchange on Letters of Credit
- High attention to detail
- Experienced with Microsoft Suite especially Excel, Outlook and MS Word as well as Power BI, other Power Apps and Salesforce
