Job Title: Test Manager / Project Manager
Location: Remote
Working Model: Remote
Duration: up to 6 months initial contract
Daily Rate Available: up to £420 Umbrella
Inside IR35 via Umbrella: Paystream, Advance, Giant


Skill Set: Test Management, Test Lead, with good communication skills, interpersonal skills

Job Description as follows:

1. Proficient in Test estimation and test resourcing for all test phases
2. Experience in test deliverables management for all test phases.
3. Experience in managing the project / programme schedule included in the Microsoft project plan.
4. Provide escalation for the test team into the programme / project leadership team.
5. Ensuring delivery of test environment and software meets respective entry criteria for each test phase.
6. Ensuring delivery of all the other entry criteria defined for each test phase.
7. Interface to Test Leads (especially if cutting across CLS and partner organisations).
8. Having minimum of 15 years of test management experience of which at least 5 years of experience on infrastructure projects
9. Test Reporting:
* Ensure production of the daily and weekly test status reports on time
* Review test status reports template and content before sending to distribution list.
* Ensure the distribution of test status reports to the correct stakeholders.
10. Defect Management Process:
* Ensure defect triage meetings are scheduled on a regular basis.
* Ensure correct attendees are invited and attend the meetings.
* Ensure attendees of the triage meetings are reviewed and additional teams / roles are invited at the correct points in the project lifecycle.
11. Test planning (including producing the Test Strategy) and re-planning for all test phases.
12. Lead test team(s) on a day-to-day basis.
13. Produce Test Execution Plan for the allotted test phase(s), incorporating test environment and test data requirements.
14. Manage test execution to remain on schedule as per Test Execution Plan.
15. Raise issues and risks to the Project Test Manager and/or Project Manager as early as possible.
16. Produce test status reports for daily and weekly reporting and review with the Project Test Manager before distribution.
17. Co-ordinate with other teams to complete any specific testing that needs to be performed by those teams or require their support to complete specific testing by the testing team.
18. Co-ordinate with other teams to understand the results of the testing they will perform.
19. Test preparation, execution and raising defects.
20. Defect management from raised to resolution (if no specific defect manager for the project, see Roles and Responsibilities for the Defect Manager)
21. Attendance of workshops for design, UI and Use Cases
22. Having minimum of 8 years of experience of which at least 5 years of experience in infrastructure testing
23. Having minimum of 3 -4 years of Testing experience in any of the Testing Domain like Windows, Linux, VMware, Middleware 's (MQ , DB2 , SQL , WAS).
24. Having minimum of 3-4 Years of Testing experience and knowledge in any of the Security and Monitoring
