The Technical Architect will be part of a scrum delivery squad and responsible for completing technical architecture tasks on a product backlog aligned to their squad. The team will be accountable for building accessible software with a focus on what users need from the service.
The Technical Architect will bridge the gap between technical and non-technical concepts related to digital software engineering and delivery. They will be expected to have a knowledge and experience of technical governance processes and support the team in both understanding and completing all assurance activities. Technical integration approaches and technologies mastery of waterfall and agile delivery methodologies and artefacts articulating complex solutions and issues to key decision making stakeholders as well as being able to lead coach and influence team members across all disciplines eg. architecture project management test infrastructure etc.
Ability to anticipate issues assess solutions identify best case / worse case scenarios to advise programme team members across all disciplines and levels.
