About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Stockroom Controller / Stores Operative to join an Aerospace Organisation.
The client design and manufacture advanced composite structures that can be found on a vast range of commercial and military aircraft. Using your versatile skillset, you will work within the import and dispatch department carrying out stock control, administration and packing.
You will ensure that all works are carried out safely and accurately and to a satisfactory standard in accordance with all applicable procedures. You will accurately input data into the internal system, support the Stores Team Leader in all areas of the business and provide any ideas and suggestions that may benefit the team and the operation as a whole.

To assist the Stores Team to safely and accurately receive, store, locate, stock check, pick, pack and subsequently deliver materials as required, on time, and to a satisfactory standard, in accordance with all applicable Stores Procedures and agreed local working practices
What do I need to do the role?
You will need to be a motivated individual looking to work hard to achieve new goals.
We would also like you to:
- Work in a safe manner at all times in accordance with all SOP's, and other Safety regulations that may be applicable, including but not limited to, Manual Handling (Ergonomics) Training, LOLER regulations, MHE (FLT etc) Operator instructions, Working at Height regulations etc.
- Previous Stores/Stockroom experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good administration skills and excellent attention to detail.
