Overview:
A leading UK bank is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect at the VP level to lead the design and implementation of robust, secure, and compliant solutions for the Product Lifecycle Catalogue (hardware and software) underpinned by IT Asset Management (ITAM). The role is driven by regulatory requirements and demands a strong background in ServiceNow (SNOW), as the critical data resides within this platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions to complex business challenges, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Lead initiatives that balance technology risks with business delivery, ensuring consistent and reliable outcomes.
- Drive innovation and transformation through strategic thinking, digital technology adoption, and business process re-engineering (BPR).
- Mandatory Requirements:
- ServiceNow (SNOW): In-depth knowledge and experience with ServiceNow, particularly in data management.
- Infrastructure Engineering: Expertise in designing and managing complex IT infrastructures.
- Security Systems & Data Modeling: Proficient in security systems and data modeling to safeguard data assets.
- Strategic Thinking & Innovation: Ability to align technical solutions with long-term business strategies.
- Change & Transformation: Proven track record in managing change and driving business process re-engineering.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Scrum and software development practices.
- IT Governance & Risk Management: Strong understanding of IT governance, risk controls, and cost-benefit analysis (CBA).
