What's the role?

To lead architecture activities for larger projects within TV&BB whilst driving the transformation of our architecture using modern software architecture principles and tools.
We are looking for an Architect with drive and enthusiasm to devise solutions that will be the envy of the industry, using the latest technologies, methods, processes, and architectures to enable us to deliver new features and improvements faster.
The ideal candidate will have experience architecting and building reliable and secure Internet-scale platforms such as a Solutions Architect, Platform engineer, Data engineer or Software Developer, and wants to be hands on with developing solutions as an SME to a squad or tribe.
Additional Information
Creates and owns technical solutions for a domain, cross domain or portfolio of work within a specific technology area and delivers work autonomously. Integrates and implements end-to-end solutions across customers and business areas. Executes technical roadmap for specific area or domain. Provides recommendation on development budget for the next year by understanding/explaining the technology evolution of the product/system/process etc. Leads on design assurance before integrating into end to end solutions. Description: The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the technical leadership and solution E2E or across multi-tower complex designs for customer contract, business area across multiple releases and projects. Responsible for pulling together E2E solutions across a range of towers, including network, compute, application, integration, security and service management. Will be responsible for defining and maintaining technical roadmap for area, including stakeholder and proactively contributing to the product evolution by bringing an understanding of what new product/service capabilities can be enabled by emerging technology capabilities. Responsible for ensuring that design assurance occurs on the relevant complex contract.
