Solutions Architect - Contract

Primary Areas of Responsibility


My client is looking for a Solutions Architect who has experience within OpenPages and vast Risk Analytical experience which enables them to design complex solutions to solve complex business problems for our customers.

The SA is aware of the regulation that is currently, or will effect our client base in the future, and is able to design OpenPages solutions in such a way that the Customer is enabled to be compliant with Risk regulations put upon them.

Based on the SA's experience on the field with Customers from both financial and non-financial vertices, she/he is able to feedback information to Product Management and influence the design of the platform going forwards. This is key to sustaining OpenPages competitive advantage.

The SA will be involved in all stages of the customer engagement, from pre-sales through to design, development and post project.

During the design phase the SA's primary tasks is to convert business requirements into an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the customer's solution. This requires in depth product knowledge and detailed knowledge of the risk market.
They will need to:

  • Manage and deliver design workshops
  • Document design decisions and deviations
  • Configure the software solution in an agile manner with the customer
  • Test the solution and custom code to ensure it meets the specifications agreed with the customer
  • Deliver Software training sessions to the customer
  • Work with the customer and the Software technical team on designing ways to meet requirements that are not aligned to the out of the box capability.



The SA becomes the recognised leader in analysing customer requirements and offering multiple, optimal architectural and technical solutions to business problems.

Beyond the project the SA looks assists with the generation of new business by identifying opportunities in existing accounts. Once an opportunity comes to fruition the SA will participate in the development og engagement work plans; identify resource requirements, and completing assigned tasks to budget and plan.
SA's achieve technical expertise and develop reputation on one or more industries. Most Software SA's will deliver presentations and help chair user events where most of the Software's large customers attend and look to do more business with us.
The SA will build executive level contacts in the business community which assists with the software with building up customer reference material and generating new business. It is imperative that the SA's we put in this position are very experienced with not only the product and the risk market, but in the manner in which each and every customer manages their risk.
