The Opportunity

We are looking to appoint a new Software Engineer to join an established, highly skilled and dynamic team based out of our client's Gosport location. You will work as part of the Software discipline to develop and maintain software products for customers within Defence & National Security sector.

The Software discipline supports a broad range of capabilities from designing submarines to providing cyber-security services and is at the forefront of developing innovative software solutions to meet the demanding requirements of customers and partner organisations.

The successful Software Engineer will be working as a member of an Agile development team with the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of software systems. The team work on a range of in use unmanned products through to the development of new innovative kit for the MoD and this role will involve working across a variety of development projects.

The Fit

You'll hold a Degree in a technology, engineering or mathematics subject and demonstrate previous experience of using MATLAB and another programming language, within an Agile environment. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and energetic, with a strong drive to ensure successful outcomes.
