About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Import/Export Shipping Controller Lead to join a FTSE 250 International company who specialise in components and sub-systems for the Aerospace, Defence and Energy markets.
Using your experience of Leading a Team within a Shipping Admin/Control environment you will,
coordinate the resources of the team to ensure that customer and business requirements are met in a cost effective and timely manner and assist and deputise when appropriate for the Logistics Manager in all aspects of internal customer interface and general reporting.
You will lead and coordinate assignment of the day to day activities across the Team in the Shipping function, lead the generation of daily shipping reports and maintenance of team performance metrics and be the first point of contact to the internal customer/supplier community.
