Senior or Linux Infrastructure Engineer - Full remote working
One of our market-leading clients in the FS sector is currently seeking an experienced Senior or mid-level Linux Infrastructure Engineer with a strong bias towards Linux O/S. The successful candidate will report to the Infra Manager and will be tasked with providing essential technical expertise and support to BAU, Project and R&D capacities. The business is looking to move away from traditional application server approach, favouring containerisation instead.
Key skills and experience required for the role;
- Strong knowledge of Linux Server infrastructure - CentOs and Redhat
- Previous experience of designing, deploying and supporting containerization platforms is advantageous
- Strong experience in storage and virtualization - VMWare
- Experienced in DR and backup
- Understanding of ITIL
