The Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Project Manager to work with our large Telecom's client, within their Digital unit.

You will work in the project office alongside our client's customers, responsible for managing a number of projects within a data programme. Overseeing the programme plan and ensuring the key deliverables are on track.

The client is moving all of Digital into full-scale Agile ways of working. You will guide teams to make better decisions, work directly with senior management teams across the business to ensure their support, and will help ensure that Digital is becoming a highly productive, Agile team.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Consolidating activities and plans across to create a 'single truth' plan for strategic projects
  • Orchestration of interdependencies for projects
  • Support in coaching Digital teams on Agile adoption, whilst ensuring commonality of tools and approaches where necessary (e.g., use of Jira)
  • Assessing overall status of projects, ensuring all teams have right support, and providing that support where necessary
  • Working with the whole PMO team to create a consolidated view of all of Digital's strategic plans, including links to CFU/CUs
  • Implementing IT controls working with legal teams, privacy teams and marketing teams, operating at a c-level executive using appropriate language around risk mitigation.
  • Attend various workshops meetings as and when required in London, Birmingham and some virtually.

Essential Experience:

  • Experience of working within a data privacy environment to communicate progress to the board
  • Track record in project management (enterprise-scale) dealing with directors.
  • Track record in Agile (working in Squads, Tribes, ideally as Agile coach or Scrum Master), and use of tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Portfolio management in a technology organisation
  • Managed technology transformation projects with multiple dependencies
  • Building and delivering communications to senior stakeholders
  • Highly engaging communication and presentation skills

Interested candidates should submit CV's in the first instance.
