Senior Project Manager
Must have an Active DV Clearance
The Senior Project Manager will work closely with Programme leadership, customers and internal teams to manage Transition and Transformation delivery. This role suits a confident Senior Project Manager who can operate in complex environments and manage senior stakeholders effectively.
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities
- Define and agree project requirements and objectives with the Project Board.
- Lead end to end project delivery ensuring successful acceptance, closedown and handover to service.
- Manage project scope, risks and issues across the full lifecycle.
- Produce and present highlight reports and KPIs to governance boards.
- Ensure compliance with project management policies, procedures and methodologies.
- Coordinate delivery teams and manage status reporting across all workstreams.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and risk assessments.
- Manage financial performance, cost tracking and budget control.
- Ensure milestones are achieved, signed off and invoiced correctly.
- Maintain visibility of P&L impact and contingency usage across projects.
Senior Project Manager Skills and Experience
- Strong experience delivering complex projects within Defence or secure environments.
- Proven experience managing Transition and Transformation programmes.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management and reporting frameworks.
- Experience managing financials, budgets and commercial performance.
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders and complex delivery teams.
- Strong communication and leadership capability across multi disciplinary environments.
