Senior Procurement Manager - HR

£580.00 p/d

London - 3 days p/w in the office

6-month contract

Role Purpose / Day to Day:

  • Support group wide workstreams to optimize HR related 3rd party spend across UK&I, ITA and DACH and leverage global synergies across Comcast Enterprise
    * Lead on HR sub-categories and support all sourcing events across the HR Group function, with focus on transformational projects in Payroll, Mobility, Rewards & Benefits
  • Identify opportunities for transformational outsourcing
    * Manage source to contract process for services in this area
    * Lead on negotiations with new and incumbent vendors
    * Analyse 3rd party spend of unaddressed areas, identify saving opportunities, and develop sourcing strategies to address - e.g., HR Operations, Rewards & Benefits
    * Support development and implementation of structured stakeholder management and supplier relationship management (e.g., balanced scorecards, review mechanism)
    * Work closely with Procurement and business colleagues across the wider Group, including teams in Italy, Germany, and the US

Experience / Skills

  • Proven Procurement experience in Corporate & Business Services Procurement, especially within HR categories and ideally including transformational outsourcing
  • 5+ years in HR background
  • Previous experience running a procurement team
  • Must have experience working with payroll / mobility / benefits / rewards
  • Highly motivated professional with a proactive approach
  • Excellent relationship building/management skills with Legal teams
  • Excellent negotiating skills and commercial acumen
  • Excellent organisational and presentational skills
  • Excellent prioritisation and project management skills
  • Creative thinking - initiative and enthusiasm in finding new sourcing approaches to balance operational and commercial pressures
  • Ability to put relevant structure around the decision-making process and ensure all options are understood in relation to the business requirements
  • Ability to manage variety of projects and the associated expectations
  • Display enthusiasm and self-motivation to overcome obstacles and demonstrate a positive approach in the face of difficulty whilst encouraging the same approach in others
  • Long-term strategic vision / understanding to help balance immediate requirements against longer-term needs
