Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Cloud & Infrastructure - Permanent - Hybrid - Leeds - Negotiable Salary
Our client is a growing Fin-tech organisation. They have a great company ethos and perks. We are seeking a results-orientated Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's Cloud Platform service product team. Your main responsibility in this role is to help to run a secure and reliable core cloud platform to support their business systems.
The position is hybrid and is located in Leeds 3 days week and 2 days from home.
What you will do
- Demonstrate extensive practical and theoretical knowledge of server, Azure cloud, and cloud-based applications.
- Test, deploy, and manage cloud-based services by following the companies policies and standards, with the ultimate goal of improving business development and customer experience.
- Maintain and optimise Microsoft infrastructure technologies in cloud environments (VM, Storage account, Directory, DNS, Backup, DR, Monitoring)
- Solve issues in operating systems, Citrix solution, Azure networking, security, and other core infrastructure components, and collaborate with third parties.
- Collaborate with other functions within IT to support appropriate technical solutions and standards to meet the companies business objectives.
- Perform regular maintenance of infrastructure through routing patching and vulnerability management.
- Provide out of hours support on a rotational basis
- Preferably you will have experience in managing 300-400 VMs
