Are you currently on the lookout for your next Contract role? If so, a leading client of mine is currently looking for an experienced Security Architect to join their team.

Role Purpose: An account-wide security architect as part of the Technical Design Authority. To provide security advice to the TDA on general cross-account matters that are not funded by client sponsored projects.

Role description:

  • An account-wide security architect as part of the Technical Design Authority (TDA);
  • To provide security advice to the TDA on general cross-account matters that are not funded by client sponsored projects
  • Technical Design Authority (TDA) Support: attendance and regular reporting at Client TDA meetings, managing project TAR reviews, providing advice to project architects
  • Initial security design advice for projects: input to planning and estimation activity, security review of Project Solution Architectures (PSAs), initial GDPR reviews, production of security papers and option appraisals
  • Production and maintenance of security architecture patterns and processes: producing new / maintaining existing patterns and processes to reflect industry and Client best practices;
  • Security Input and advice to maintain security-related DPAL artefacts: updating documentation and providing advice to client staff as required
  • Production of security advisory papers and ad hoc security advice: Responding to client and Client-side requests for security advice on new technology (including NCSC architectural guidance), and existing solutions (e.g. in response to ITHC findings)
  • Production of regular Account reports: as required by the Account and Architecture leads and Client-side security (currently produce a monthly initiatives report, weekly resource and deliverables report)
  • Support to Account Workshops / Meetings: Providing security input and support to Client colleagues, as required.

Required Experience:

  • Proven professional experience in a similar role
  • Must hold active SC
