Location: M4 Corridor or Birmingham (Onsite)
Rate: Up to £450 per day (Inside IR35)
Security Clearance: SC Clearance Required
Role Overview:
We are looking for an Experienced SD-WAN Engineer to help roll out our SD-WAN service to a large worldwide customer. Your role will involve configuring and deploying customer SD-WAN Edge devices in conjunction with or programme team, working dynamically with colleagues remotely and on the customer site. The engineer will also work with the current support personnel to understand the products and their use across the shared service.
Key Responsibilities:
Your role will involve configuring and deploying cEdge devices using Cisco vManage
- Detailed investigation in real time for any issues with the deployment
- To perform remote diagnostic tests where applicable to aid primary fault rectification
- Preconfigure equipment for customer installation.
- Implement Approved Configuration Changes
Requirements:
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals
- Experience of building and deploying routers and firewalls
- Problem solving skills, allowing you to think dynamically in high pressure situations
- Thorough knowledge of network technologies relating to Cisco, knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN would be advantageous
- Ideally have been in a support role in a WAN environment with a knowledge of virtualisation
