Hybrid role - Scrum Master / Project Manager
Location - Perth / Glasgow / Aberdeen
Contract duration- 6 months initially, with possibility of extension
We are actively looking to secure a hybrid Scrum Master / Project Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.
Our client is one of the largest and most diverse energy companies in the UK and Ireland involved in the production, storage, distribution and supply of gas and the generation, transmission, distribution and supply of electricity and other energy services to over 9 million customers across our Retail brands. Our client has regularly been voted No.1 for customer satisfaction in multiple independent surveys and is one of the UK's largest generators of electricity and the UK's largest generator of renewable energy.
The client has recently embarked on a 5 year+ £1Bn IT transformation programme spanning all areas of the business to support its continuing strategy. Effectively harnessing Data and Analytics will become an essential strategic capability enabling the client to continue to operate and compete effectively in its markets and business segments.
Candidate's required/essential experience
- Strong business and IT communication skills
- Ability to work with various business stakeholders to set up a project
Business Knowledge
- Experience as a Scrum Master with Data visualisation projects
- Experience with delivery of multiple agile projects across the client's Transmission Portfolio
- Experience of working on data projects would be a strong preference
Essential Functional / Technical Skills
- Certified Scrum Master / Agile Practitioner
- Expert knowledge of Agile software development process
- Programme management experience, MSP or equivalent
- Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, Continuous
- Integration, Continuous Testing, Paired Programming, Automated Testing, Agile Games
- Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by Agile teams
- Strong Training facilitation skills
