Job Spec: Overview of Team & Role Transfers is a team of talented Engineers supporting numerous services across the HMRC estate that use Transfer Manager - an in-house solution that provides a secure file transfer mechanism between Unix, Windows, Mainframe servers. In this role, you will be doing a wide range of activities from investigating file issues concluding with successful resolution to supporting projects migrating Transfer Manager software to new Cloud Services. This will include installations, health checks and testing as well as liaising with the project via updates and Project Meeting attendance. Services are supported 24/7, so a willingness to perform out of hours support and occasional planned out of hours activities is essential. We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck-in; someone who learns quickly; has an aptitude for problem solving; loves a challenge. As an Engineer you'll be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities, surrounded by some amazing people, and working in one of the best cultures that you can find.
