Our client, a market leading multi-national technology consultancy are looking for a Release Manager to join them on a customer-based project based London/Remote. The assignment is an initial 6-month contract and can offer a competitive daily rate via Umbrella.

About the Job:
Digital is leading the way in defining, developing and delivering mobile centred smart banking. It is a foundational (digitally-centred) proposition which can be harnessed by our markets in support of the Growth Agenda. Our goal is to enable mobile-centred smart banking faster, more effectively and in a way that sets the standard of modern banking and paves the way for bank of the future.

The Role:
You will work within the newly formed Cloud Platforms function. We are driving innovation across the bank through the use of cloud solutions. Our team is responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing operational support of cloud services for the Clients Digital business.


Role purpose:
We're implementing platform as a service solution for our internal customers. Our goal is to provide robust, resilient, developer friendly ecosystem for hosting applications in the cloud. You'll be working with Engineering and Delivery Leads to set and define Release Process across the Cloud Platform needed for successful delivery of highly complex cloud products.


Knowledge & Experience we need:
* Good Leadership, analytical and problem solving skills.
* Strong understanding of CI/CD and available tools like Jenkins, GitHub
* Ability to coordinate multiple teams to ensure tasks are completed in time with the release schedule
* Advanced communication skills both written and Verbal. Stakeholder Management
* Experience with cloud services and concepts (AWS)
* Understanding of Kubernetes (EKS)
* Deep understanding of software development lifecycle
* A high level of motivation, quick to learn and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
