Project Administrator - NHS IT/Digital Project

Location: Hybrid - 2 days in the office
Contract: Contract
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

About the Role

We are looking for a well-organised Project Administrator to provide administrative support to an NHS digital project. The role focuses on arranging meetings, taking minutes, maintaining project records, and supporting the project leads/team with day-to-day administration.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange and coordinate project meetings and workshops

  • Prepare agendas and take accurate meeting minutes

  • Maintain action logs and follow up on outstanding actions

  • Keep project plans, meeting schedules, and trackers up to date

  • Organise and maintain project documents and records

  • Support preparation of basic reports and updates

  • Manage emails, correspondence, and shared inboxes

  • Ensure information is handled in line with NHS policies

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an administrative or office support role

  • Experience arranging meetings and taking minutes

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines

  • Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel

Desirable

  • Experience working in the NHS or public sector

  • Experience supporting projects or programmes

  • Experience using SharePoint or similar systems

This is a hybrid role with 2 days required in the office each week, candidates should be based near Southampton.
