Here at Cavendish Nuclear we are looking to recruit a Programme Manage for a unique opportunity to lead on Project Delivery for our New Build Business Unit, supporting activities at Hinckley Point C (HPC)
Job Purpose
Based our of our site in Bristol, the Programme manager will be primarily responsible for the management and growth of Cavendish Nuclear' s projects for Hinkley Point C outside of the MEH Alliance.
Responsibilities will include:
Responsible for our role in the Commissioning Alliance including harnessing expertise across wider Babcock International Group (e.g. QE Carrier Commissioning experience).
Responsible for delivery and tender of specific sub contracts e.g. waste handling plants.
Responsible for delivery and growth of design support packages to the MEH Alliance.
Responsible for delivery and growth to HPC including JDO, EPR Design Centre etc.
The applicant will need to demonstrate:
Exceptional Safety Leadership
Experience of significant (>£15m) Programme Delivery within a highly regulated industry; including design, manufacture and site construction and commissioning experience
Experience of delivery under NEC contracting arrangements
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable experience:
Experience in delivery of high value projects within the Nuclear sector including design, manufacture and site construction and commissioning scopes across all aspects of the Nuclear industry lifecycle
Demonstrable understanding of Nuclear Quality Assurance and its importance in delivery of projects
An understanding of HPC and key stakeholders
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in engineering / project / construction management or a related field;
Extensive experience in managing a portfolio of Projects to cater for SPM development
Ideally have a Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner qualification
APM qualified preferably to Chartered Project Professional (ChPP)
IOSH Managing Safely or higher safety qualifications preferred
