Product Manager
6 months contract
remote
£575 p/d via Umbrella company

WHAT YOU WILL DO…

As a Product Manager you will be responsible for the Marketing Technology (martech) domain within the team. This is a key role in understanding, shaping and delivering the right technology products and platforms to support our busy marketing teams.

  • Work alongside, and proactively communicate with, a wide group of stakeholders, to ideate and prioritise changes that ensure associated software engineering teams are working on the right things at the right time
  • Bring together and clearly articulate a complex domain and supporting set of suppliers to align to the vision, driving efficiencies where possible.
  • Define your roadmap and success metrics to maximise the value your products deliver to the business and your customers
  • Establish clear and unambiguous goals, scope, and requirements for all roadmap items
  • Understand, influence, and shape the strategy and product vision for your domain
  • Work closely with Agile Delivery Leads, Business Analysts and Engineers to make balanced decisions that consider viewpoints from Product, Technology and Delivery, leading your squads to success
  • Provide a strong product leadership voice to your squads, work closely, lead inception sessions and be actively involved in agile ceremonies.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT…

  • We're looking for a Product Manager who has agile experience and has worked at a senior level. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to quickly adapt to changes in direction, knowing when to pick your battles and how to challenge in a constructive way
  • You'll have a solid Product Management 101 toolkit and understand best practices - prioritisation, measurement, facilitating workshops, building roadmaps, managing stakeholders, building clear and concise presentations, excellent communication skills, able to influence and make objective decisions
  • You'll have experience of managing a wide range of stakeholders, can quickly form productive working relationships, able to handle difficult discussions and champion the delivery of value for customers
  • You'll enjoy working within a technical domain and solving complex problems. This does not mean coming from an engineering background, but rather the ability to navigate through complex technical conversations to make right product decisions
  • You'll have an analytical and inquisitive mind-set with the ability to translate business requirements and analysis into tangible outcomes
  • You'll have excellent communication skills
  • You'll be organised and self-motivated, with a desire to make sure we are doing the right thing
