Experis are currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager on a 12-month contract basis for a Public sector body, providing personal and social development services.

Role Specific Competencies:

  • Must have procurement delivery experience across a range of categories
  • Skilled at developing category/project specific plans, in conjunction with stakeholders
  • Highly numerate
  • Skilled negotiator
  • Well-developed influencing skills; capable of affecting key decision makers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; is clear, concise and relevant.
  • Proficient with Management Information tools e.g. D&B reports
  • Usage of e procurement tools

Experience and qualifications:

  • Graduate level qualification (preferably in a business related discipline)
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply Management (CIPS)
  • Experience of the Public Procurement Regulations. Able to clearly articulate to
  • in-procurement colleagues and apply pragmatically
  • Experience of working in cross-functional teams
