Essential need is a for a "Customer Facing / Customer Centric" Technical Solutions Design & Build Pre-Sales Consultant who can perform at an Architectural Level for this IT Solutions & Services MSP.

You will have solid technical experience in: MS Office 365 Solutions, Cloud Technology, Messaging etc, Microsoft Server Technologies: MS Server, MS Clustering, Active Directory Services, Group Policy, Networking Solutions Design including Wireless & Wi-Fi Solutions, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, LAN/WAN Design & Build, Windows Remote Desktop, Virtualisation technologies; VMware ESX Server, Hyper-V, Server Hardware: HPE & Dell Servers, vSphere, HA, Citrix XenApp, Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Storage Technologies: SAN (HPE)

Package Consists of:

  • Basic Salary is Competitive - Dependant on Experience
  • Commission of 10% GP for Existing Business
  • Commission of 20% GP for New Business
  • £5,000 Car Allowance or Company Car

Job Description:

Client are one of the UK's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, enabling users and their businesses.

Their IT Sales Division is looking to recruit an experienced IT Infrastructure Solutions and Services Pre-Sales Consultant who will offer strong Technical as well as Commercial experience gained in the IT Infrastructure "Total Solutions & Services" environment. This is a genuine career opportunity for a talented Pre-Sales Specialist with a company who in 2020, have seen amazing growth, relocation to brand new offices and continued Talent Acquisition into 2021.

Reporting to the IT Sales Director and working closely with the Head of Technical Services, the successful post-holder will act as the "Technical Conduit" between Sales, Pre-Sales and the Technical Teams with tenacity and gusto to focus towards cross-selling for this expanding business within existing accounts. You will have the assertiveness and hunger to drive business and commercial opportunities in warm and cold accounts for which you will be well rewarded.

This client has preferences for a person who has worked in a Pre-Sales Technical Consultancy previously, or has engaged in Pre-Sales Consultancy work in the past and is looking to embrace a change of culture and rise above their peers in a dynamic organisation.

You will require strong technical knowledge in these key areas:

  • Networking including Wireless & Wi-Fi Solutions, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP
  • LAN/WAN Design & Build
  • MS Office 365 Solutions and Cloud Technology, Messaging etc
  • Microsoft Server technologies; MS Server, MS Clustering, Active Directory Services, Group Policy
  • Windows Remote Desktop
  • Virtualisation technologies; VMware ESX Server, Hyper-V
  • Server Hardware: HPE & Dell Servers.
  • vSphere, HA, Citrix XenApp
  • Microsoft Azure, Office 365
  • Storage Technologies: SAN (HPE)
  • Experience selling Enterprise level infrastructures
  • Backup/Archiving technologies; Veeam Backup and Replication
  • VoIP, Cisco, Telephony, Avaya, Mitel,
  • Scripting (PowerShell)
  • Disaster Recovery, Replication and Recovery services
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to achieve prompt resolution
  • Capable of managing concurrent projects
  • Solid operational understanding of service management standards
