WHAT TO EXPECT
We are searching for a Powertrain Controls Calibration Engineer to support the emission development of a class-leading powertrain. As the Powertrain Controls Calibration Engineer, you will be working on emission development across dyno, testbench and real driving. You will support the department to review the emissions and fuel consumption requirements for Hybrid / Plug-in vehicles whilst supporting ECU Calibration in the presence also of eventual Hybrid architecture. You will perform software calibration and debugging of PFI/GDI functionalities and develop and simulate new engine functions to achieve emissions and fuel consumption targets to support the development and certification emissions tests.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You will have experience in Engine Calibration, Tools and Methodology (3+ Years) with a working knowledge of Bosch Engine Management Systems (MED17 preferably) and ETAS Inca. You will have a strong understanding of Engine and Controls fundamentals and knowledge of basic engine design and the actuators controlled by ECU. As this position will involve national and international travel, you must hold a valid driving licence and be willing to travel aboard (EU).
