Scope:
The IT Corporate directorate exists to manage cross directorate business applications. The Corporate Solutions BI team will develop reporting solutions for this directorate using the latest OBIEE platform and Oracle data integration technologies.
Supporting and developing the OBIEE suite of products within the Corporate Solutions BI team, you will manage, support and enhance the ETL batch schedules and develop and maintain the ETL processes, repository, reports and user dashboards.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will extend to documenting customisations and extensions and you will liaise with the business, support and project teams to ensure new requirements are met in a timely manner. You will adhere to SLAs in relation to fault and defect management and control release processes using recognised IT best practice.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience from a similar support or development role in supporting business critical systems in a medium/large organisation. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and display excellent technical computing, analysis, design and development skills to a proven professional level.
You should have a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving and have a proactive approach with the ability to prioritise your own workload within demanding schedules. You should be able to take ownership of problems and requests as well as the ability to work in a pressurised environment.
