Network Systems Design Engineer / Security Cleared - SC / Portsmouth / 6 month contract / £650 Per Day Inside IR35

Experis is recruiting for a Network Design Engineer to join a one of our leading clients in the market, this will be to lead the technical refresh and development of a network under an improvement project.
What we are looking for is a proactive candidate with a proven track record of designing and delivering on prem network designs for IT systems
Title: Network Systems Design Engineer (SC Cleared)
Length: 6 months
Rate: £650 (via umbrella)
Location: Hybrid - London / Bristol
Please note: This role requires active SC clearance
Required Skills and Experience
- Responsible for delivering a well documented network design
- Responsible for managing the technical output of network design
- Working with project managers to ensure tasks are completed to time, cost and quality
- Proactive engagement with technical assurance
- Generate test plans to support the assurance of design
Essential Qualifications
- Network LAN Design
- Network Security Design (Firewalls/ VPNs)
- CCNP Certification or equivalent
