Global organisation is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to be a key technical presence based at their European HQ in Birmingham.
Reporting to the Head of Network Services as a Network Engineer you will provide a high level of technical expertise involving 3rd Support within the Network Services Team.
You will be an experienced Network Engineer, tried and tested in demanding environments
You will be competent working at CCNP level (CCNP Certification desirable but not imperative)
You will work across a multi-client, shared services LAN/WAN and Security environment which
You will coexist with other Infrastructure Departments and Services Teams
You will ensure solutions compatibility and compliance to clienteles Service Level Agreements
You will ensure your support and technical input is compliant with Technical Standards.
This role will require energy and you will need to be a "tenacious completer" that is also responsible for ensuring your levels of support and input are aligned and prioritised to meet deadlines and project timescales.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Owning technical support, projects, BAU operational support and improvements for the Networks and Shared Services area, you will need to ensure appropriate and successful implementation your key technical and functional responsibilities that will involve:
Cisco LAN/WAN Support
Cisco Firepower
ISE (Identity Service Engine)
Juniper SRX Firewalls
Routing & Switching, DNS
SD WAN
zScaler
Juniper Firewalls

Assure the planning, scheduling and technical detail of Change Requests
Making sure routine maintenance activities are completed
Manage Root Cause Analysis and Technical Escalations in line with SLA's.
Desirable Qualifications and Certifications will include any of the following:
CCNA
CCNP
CCDA
Juniper
Mitel or Avaya
