About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior D365 Developer Consultant to join our team in the UK. In this expert-level role, you will be a cornerstone of our Microsoft technology ecosystem, designing, developing and extending our existing Dynamics 365 platform with best-in-class solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate. You will act as both a technical expert and a trusted consultant bridging the gap between complex business requirements from across sales team and world-class Microsoft technology solutions.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, business analysts, architects, and external Microsoft partners to ensure our D365 platform evolves in line with the business's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Development & Technical Delivery

  • Design, develop, configure, and extend existing Dynamics 365 environment, covering modules such as Client Account Management (CAM), Sales, and other integrated Services.
  • Build enterprise-grade Power Apps solutions (Model-Driven and Canvas Apps) that sit natively on top of D365/Dataverse
  • Design and implement sophisticated Power Automate flows, including cloud flows, and business process flows, to automate end-to-end business processes across the organization.
  • Develop custom plugins, PCF controls, JavaScript web resources, and custom connectors to extend D365 functionality
  • Implement and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and third-party enterprise systems (e.g. Genesys, SharePoint, Teams, Azure services) using APIs, Azure Logic Apps, and connectors
  • Build and maintain scalable Dataverse data models, ensuring performance, security, and data integrity across the platform
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and reports integrated into D365/Power Apps to deliver actionable insights to project and operational teams
  • Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs to ensure system stability.
  • Deliver and configure solutions using Copilot Studio and Copilot for Sales, ensuring high-quality AI-driven experiences and successful integration with Dynamics 365 Sales.
  • Advise AI governance, data readiness, and best practices to maximize adoption and business value.
  • Solution Architecture & Design
  • Lead solution design workshops and translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable D365/Power Platform architectures.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation including solution design documents, architecture diagrams, and integration specifications
  • Define and enforce development standards, coding best practices, governance frameworks, and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) strategies using Azure DevOps and solution layers.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Consultancy
  • Provide expert guidance and challenge business assumptions to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and aligned to Microsoft best practice
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile delivery teams including business analysts, project managers, testers, and architects.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior and mid-level D365/Power Platform developers within the team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • D365 Development years of hands-on Dynamics 365 development experience (CE/Power Platform focus)
  • Power Apps Expert-level experience building complex Model-Driven and Canvas Apps on Dataverse
  • Power Automate Deep expertise in Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows (RPA), and Business Process Flows
  • Custom
  • Development Strong proficiency in C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, and .NET for plugin and PCF control development
  • Dataverse Knowledge of data modelling, security roles, business rules, and Dataverse APIs
  • Integrations Proven track record building integrations via Azure Integration Services, REST/SOAP APIs, custom connectors
  • Azure DevOps Experience with CI/CD pipelines, solution deployment automation, and branching strategies
  • Architecture Ability to design scalable enterprise solutions aligned to Microsoft Well-Architected Framework
  • Agile Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-based delivery

Qualifications & Certifications

Required:

  • Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent demonstrable professional experience

  • PL-200 - Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant
  • MB-210 - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales
