Role Title: ServiceNow Senior Developer
Duration: contract to run until 31/03/2026
Location: London, Hybrid working
Rate: up to £690 p/d Umbrella inside IR35
Clearance required: MOD SC clearance is essential.
Role purpose / summary
The Platform Developer will:
- Demonstrate strong customer and stakeholder‑management skills, acting as a key point of engagement and guidance on the suitability of ServiceNow for business needs.
- Develop custom ServiceNow applications.
- Build CPA service functionality to meet user needs and ACOE service requirements.
- Follow industry best-practice guidelines and contribute to the teams ongoing improvement.
- Write clean, secure, and well‑tested software.
- Coach and mentor more junior colleagues.
- Support the operation of services in production, including identifying and resolving issues.
- Assist in the resolution of operational incidents.
Should also have experience of:
- Linux OS configuration, shell scripting, Linux application installs.
- Understanding of AWS Cloud Services
- Designing and developing ServiceNow custom applications
- ServiceNow architecture
- Systems and Network Integrations
- Leading development teams.
