My client is a leading Managed Services Provider looking to hire their first Microsoft Practice Lead / Head of Public Cloud (O365 and Azure) experienced in selling cloud solutions.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the Microsoft cloud vertical selling the O365 and Azure to existing clients.

  • Create market strategy for cloud portfolio targeting external stakeholders increasing annual revenue.

  • Understand client requirements driving customer success and building strong relationships with external stakeholders and supporting solution/IP partners.

  • Building partnerships with Microsoft in collaboration with partner/alliance managers.

  • Identify market trends, products and competitors.

  • Must be proficient in all aspects of sales process - telephone canvassing, client visits / virtual meetings, negotiation (financial and contractual), closing deals and ensuring clients are happy with the services.

  • Promoting annual renewals.

  • Expanding current accounts.

Experience Required:

  • Experience working as Microsoft Practice Lead or Head of Public Cloud role delivering Microsoft cloud solutions within a Managed Services Provider.

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft's commercial model & how to be successful as a Microsoft partner, leveraging support across programs & investments.

  • Understanding of sales motions and strategies required to be successful in a cloud solution sales business.

  • Fantastic client management and communication skills - you must be presentable, confident, professional and have gravitas.

  • To possess Azure and M365 certifications i.e.: AZ-301

  • A proven record of implementing commercial Sales strategies and achieving successful business growth.

  • Must possess the confidence and knowledge to conduct and lead client meetings.

  • Must be able to develop strong relationships with both Clients but also internal stakeholders.
