My client is one of support services to the emergency services sector. They manage vehicles and equipment on behalf of organisations such as London Fire Brigade, Metropolitan Police Service and the Highways Agency. And as one of our Vehicle Mechanics, you'll play a vital role in keeping their vehicles on the road and in great working order.
Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair and overhaul of vehicles, assemblies, electrical and general equipment including diagnostic and inspection duties.
Responsibilities include:
* Mechanical servicing
* Fault Finding
* Occasional rebuilds
What do I need to do the role?
You will need to hold an NVQ in mechanics as a minimum, however we are open to the level of working experience. You will need to have good mechanical aptitude and be able to think about problems logically.
What else do I need to know?
Hours worked are flexible and you can accrue time to take off when you choose.
