Job Role
* Support the design/implementation of manufacturing processes and supply chains for New Product Introductions (NPI)
* Plan and design manufacturing processes in industrial plants and suppliers
* Work with the Sourcing team to expedite dual source supplier options to mitigate businesses continuity risks
* Drive and lead project plans to expedite implementation
* Be part of a team delivering Component Engineering (CE) to minimise suppliers risks and deliver material savings
* Maximise efficiency by analysing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilisation
* Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification
* Works under immediate supervision but is self-motivated
Experience
* Strong knowledge of setting up new supply chains
* Ideally experience with moulding, metal forming, manual assembly and automatic assembly
* Good communication skills and experience working with suppliers
* Good Project management skills and track record in hitting deadlines
* Ability to identify problems and drive solutions
