Job Title: DV Cleared Linux Engineer
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Location: Farnborough onsite (possibly 1 day remote)
Rate: Up to £830 via an approved umbrella company
My Defence sector client is looking for a Linux Engineer to join their team. The role details will be discussed in more detail directly with the client.
The required skills and experience for this role are:
Essential
- Administration, maintenance and build of modern Linux systems.
- User account security, file systems and networking.
- Bash scripting.
Desirable
- RedHat Linux systems or their derivatives/relatives, e.g. CentOS, AlmaLinux or Fedora.
- Ansible scripting for Linux and Windows target systems.
- DHCP, DNS and iPXE
- DHCP- Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
- DNS- Domain Name System
- iPXE - Preboot Execution Environment
