Project: Corporate Services within the Public Sector. Oracle lead implementation project for ERP/HCM, introducing enhancements to an established Oracle HR implementation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Oracle HCM Tester to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the testing efforts of Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) applications. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about ensuring the quality and functionality of HR software solutions through meticulous testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing Execution:

    • Execute test cases and scripts for Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, and Self-Service.
    • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
    • Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in the system.
  • Test Planning and Documentation:

    • Assist in developing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.
    • Maintain accurate and comprehensive test documentation, including test results, defect logs, and status reports.
  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and business processes.
    • Collaborate with senior testers to refine and improve testing methodologies and strategies.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that Oracle HCM applications meet business and technical requirements.
    • Participate in test review meetings and provide feedback on test coverage and quality.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay updated with the latest Oracle HCM functionalities, testing tools, and best practices.
    • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of testing practices.


  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • 1-2 years of experience in software testing, preferably with Oracle HCM or other ERP systems.
    • Experience with testing tools and methodologies.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Basic understanding of Oracle HCM modules and functionalities.
    • Proficiency in SQL and understanding of database concepts.
    • Familiarity with automated testing tools is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Oracle HCM or related fields.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of HR business processes and practices.
