Our Maintenance Service Centre is a fast‑paced, hands‑on technical hub where we support a wide range of customer device builds throughout their lifecycle - helping organisations stay productive and future‑focused.
What You'll Do
You'll play a key role in preparing, repairing and configuring IT hardware, ensuring devices meet the highest standards before reaching customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting, testing, cleaning and preparing a range of devices (laptops, desktops, screens, mobile and handheld devices).
- Performing software configuration, updates, diagnostics and repairs.
- Installing spare parts and completing warranty repairs to OEM and ASP standards.
- Logging, managing and closing tickets within internal systems.
- Staging and imaging devices using predefined software builds.
- Supporting effective asset tracking and maintaining accurate device location records.
- Identifying and escalating risks to customer SLAs.
- Maintaining a tidy, efficient workspace in line with 6S principles.
- Working flexibly across the Service Centre to prevent backlogs and maintain SLA targets.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring technical capability, strong organisation, and a collaborative, proactive mindset. You should have:
- Experience with laptop/desktop repair, software builds, diagnostics and hardware components.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Previous exposure to mobile or handheld device support.
- Strong administrative accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills-written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.
- Experience in a corporate IT or enterprise maintenance environment (desirable).
- Manufacturer accreditations (HP, Dell, Apple, Lenovo etc.) or willingness to achieve them.
- Ability to mentor and support team members.
- A forward‑thinking, solutions‑focused approach and openness to change.
- Active government SC clearance.
