Our client is a long-established, household name organisation. As a result of continued growth, they now seek to recruit an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager who will be responsible for managing and implementing IT systems and strategy for the company, ensuring our IT systems are reliable, available and performant for our 200 users working in the office and remotely.

Working closely with our IT systems provider you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and smooth running of IT and telecoms systems on our Microsoft Azure platform and associated applications.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Development of future IT strategy and direction to improve working processes and creating efficiencies, whilst also considering cost management.
  • Project planning and managing the implementation, update and upgrading of business systems and applications
  • Applying and maintaining documented policies, processes and procedures to govern IT operations and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practice.
  • Developing and reviewing cyber security procedures and processes to support secure operations, any required cyber incident response and achievement of cyber security accreditation.
  • Conduct and document weekly and monthly internal audits to verify the security and efficiency of the organisation's networks, systems and hardware.
  • Maintain an up to date working knowledge of all of our systems (especially Microsoft applications) to ensure users are maximising the systems to the best of its ability
  • Documentation and testing of IT disaster recovery plans.
  • Liaise with and manage third party suppliers for the procurement of computer hardware, licences and services within budget.
  • Managing, directing and developing the activities and skills of our IT Technician.
