Experis has an exciting new opportunity for an SC Cleared IT Platform Engineer. This is a 6 month contract offering remote working. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in MS Server 12, 16 and 19, knowledge of domain service functions (AD, DNS etc) and VMWare vSphere experience. Only candidates with existing active SC clearance (used within the last 12 months) will be considered.

Rate: £700 per day (via umbrella)

Job Specification
Position will be utilised to support the current Tier 3 delivery team in delivering Operating system and application upgrades and migrations in an IT Platforms environment.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012/2016/2019 (Windows 10 advantageous)
- Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO and other domain service functions
- Excellent knowledge of Operating system upgrades and application migration
- Experience of managing servers within a VMWare vSphere environment
- Experience working with hyper-converged infrastructure
- Experience in Automation technologies relevant to technical specialism
- Skilled in scripting and automation using relevant technologies.
- A clear understanding of IT Security Standards in an enterprise environment
- Experience in backup technologies desirable
- Security Clearance (SC) is required for this contract role
