An established, company with long standing heritage are entering a stage of rapid growth due to recent acquisition and investment and is looking to expand their team with the addition on an enthusiastic IT Infrastructure Platform Engineer. The organisation has seen great expansion in their customer portfolio, and therefore need to add great people to their business to cope with the growing demand.
As a Platform Engineer, you will be working in a fast paced, hands on environment providing support to internal & Client systems and project related support. The role would suit someone from an infrastructure support background looking to get involved in DevOps

Experience Required:
- Knowledge of Microsoft & Red Hat Linux Operations Systems
- Knowledge of Networking & Associated Infrastructure (Cisco, Firewall)
- Excellent Knowledge of VMWarevSphere/ESXi
- Experience of Microsoft Active Directory & Microsoft 365
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of MySql / Sql Server
- Experience with AWS / Azure
- PHP & Bash Advantageous
- Experience of CVS, SVN & Git useful
In the role you will:
Provide support and assistance for external clients regarding infrastructure matters
Provide support for implementations and projects
Work with other internal teams to provide fit-for-purpose solutions
Assist in routine IT maintenance to ensure solutions run efficiently and effectively
Provide support and monitoring for Internal IT
