Windows Desktop and Windows Server Operating Systems Management, Application Packaging & Virtualization, Active Directory Engineering Skills to including, OU Design, Group Policy Preferences, Group Policy Objects, DHCP, DNS, WINS, Domain Controller Management and Roles Management, Microsoft SCCM - Microsoft and & 3rd Party Patching, Windows OS Desktop / Laptop Image creation, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, MS Office 365 Administration experience and Application Support, Management of Desktop / Laptop Security Tools e.g. Anti-virus, Anti-Malware, Heuristic AV products and also VPN technologies, Scripting Expertise in PowerShell, Citrix - XenApp published Desktop & Published application

Renowned multinational are seeking the services of a Professional, Fearless and Challenge Orientated Desktop Applications Specialist to elevate their Desktop function which is platformed toward the Microsoft ideal.

The Desktop & Applications Team provide ownership for the design, development, management, architecture, operation and full lifecycle of all Desktop Infrastructure including: SCCM, AD/GPO/GPP, Citrix, Client Desktop Engineering and Configuration, Client Patching and Desktop AV. In addition, the Desktop Team also provide "Deep-Dive 3rd Line Support across a number of "Legally Specific and Office 365 Suite of applications".

Your Key Remit will consist of:

  • Responsibility for the Architecture, Creation and Management of a MS Desktop Environment:
  • 3rd Line Application Support on Windows 10, Office 365 and Server (2008/12/16) environments
  • Defining and controlling Windows 10 Build Configuration - using GPO & scripting
  • Defining application packaging
  • Managing the release or update of applications through our third-party provider using SCCM
  • Acting as technical resource to assist with project delivery. This will include OS lifecycle, patching and Server security updates, Palo Alto VPN, new Document Management system amongst others

Essential Technical Skills you will need in your Toolbox will be:

  • Windows Desktop and Windows Server Operating Systems Management
  • Application Packaging & Virtualization
