A multinational Global logistics organisation is seeking an IT Customs Specialist to join the UK based team. Are you an IT Manager with a background in customs looking for an exciting new opportunity to join a global brand at a time of transformation?
This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join our team to help us enhance both our internal and customer-facing offerings in the area of customs.
The right IT Customs Specialist will be reporting into our Head of IT Solutions, be pivotal in leading on scoping and implementing IT customs related projects, using project management principles to deliver success.
The Role will include:
- Project Management - Acting as technical project lead delivering IT solutions to our customers in the area of customs.
- Manage - colleagues and suppliers to deliver innovative solutions positioning us as a leader in this field.
To be considers the ideal candidate will also come with the following skills:
- Experience in a managerial IT role or IT project management
- Knowledge of customs clearance processes and the freight forwarding industry is essential
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Effective stakeholder management
