Infrastructure Specialist - Windows 10 to 11 Migration
Location: Hursley - 4 days per week on site

Clearance: Active SC required
The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to lead and support a Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration across secure environments.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11 across enterprise environments
Build, configure and deploy Windows 11 images using MDT and WDS
Implement and manage device configurations and security lockdown policies
Configure and manage Group Policies (GPOs)
Administer Active Directory environments
Manage updates and patching using WSUS
Monitor infrastructure components using SolarWinds
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell
Support troubleshooting across OS, deployment and basic networking layers
Must-Have Skills & Experience
Active SC Clearance
Strong hands-on experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11
Proven experience delivering Windows OS migrations in enterprise environments
Deep knowledge of:
Active Directory
Group Policy (GPOs)
WSUS
SolarWinds
Experience configuring Windows 11 lockdown/security settings
Strong PowerShell scripting skills
Experience with MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit) and WDS (Windows Deployment Services)
Solid understanding of basic networking principles
Nice to Have
Experience working in secure government environments
Familiarity with Guardian environments or secure airspace/defence programmes
ITIL or structured service delivery experience
