One of the largest gaming platforms in the UK is looking for an Impala Engineer to join their team on an initial 9 month contract.
Technical Skills
The basis of the work is making changes to the PiDL pipeline and checking the outcome etc, so the following skills are essential:
- Knowledge and understanding of CDH components, mainly Impala, Hive, Hadoop
- Very light understanding of Ruby, just enough to make small changes to the PiDL code. There will need to be some training on PiDL
- Git/Stash
- Jenkins/Groovy - again, light touch only
